Designing, implementing and evaluating various social action plans, including Land Management Plans and Community Investment & Development Plans
Development of a comprehensive impact assessment and analysis should lead to the development of an overarching Social Impact Management Plan, which will outline in detail the various approaches which will be taken to manage the key impacts arising from a project, and how positive impacts will be maximized. This should include the required resourcing, budgets and management methodologies required to achieve this.
Within this SIMP, the following detailed action plans may be required:
- Stakeholder Engagement Plan
- Resettlement Action Plan or Livelihood Restoration Plan
- Community Investment Plan
- Local Employment and Procurement Plan
- Land Management Plan
- Ecosystem Services Plan
